Tony has been an innovator for more than 25 years. Cutting his teeth in the Cable Television, Internet and Technology sector at the height of the dot-com era, notably TCI Cable and Level 3 Communications. Tony was responsible for building some of the most profitable and successful business units within these companies. Tony then made the transition into the world of luxury getaways, when he was recruited by Club Holdings in 2005 to create what is now the leading luxury destination club in the world, Quintess. At Quintess he was the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Over his Quintess career, Tony increased deposits and initiation fees by more than 75% and recurring revenue by more than 50%. Additionally, through his strong relationships with members, he was instrumental in multiple equity raises for Quintess, resulting in more than $28M of new investment.
In 2012, Tony set out to change the landscape of the movie industry by forming TRUTH Entertainment. At TRUTH [Entertainment], Tony’s responsibilities included all strategic planning, business development, staffing, investor relations, marketing and finance. As Executive Producer, Tony’s first film was wildly successful. Dallas Buyers Club was named one of the top ten independent films of 2013 by the National Board of Review. In addition, Dallas Buyers Club dominated the awards season by winning, two Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and won three Academy Awards after being nominated for six. To date, Dallas Buyers Club has grossed over $120M in box office and ancillary revenues, resulting in an 86%+ equity investor return.
With XYZ CBD, Tony is looking to advance the Hemp industry in Kentucky and change the country’s perspective on HEMP derived products. As President and Founder, Tony is helping to shape this emerging industry and make XYZ CBD a leading supplier in this next-generation class of consumer pharmaceuticals, cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, wellness, beauty and pet products.
